$A higher after RBA decision

The Australian dollar is higher after the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) kept its interest rate on hold and Americans start voting in the presidential election.

At 0630 AEDT on Wednesday, the local unit was trading at 104.41 US cents, up from 104.27 cents on Tuesday.

The currency rose on Tuesday afternoon, after the RBA decided to keep the cash rate at 3.25 per cent.
