Fans and stans help build a brand. Thanks to the lovers of Glossier who have pushed for it, the new Glossier Solar Paint is here.

Glossier Solar Paint is what the brand calls its “most requested product ever.” The newbie makeup product is an illuminating bronzer cream that’s super lightweight but visibly stunning. Ultimately, it’s meant to give your skin a sun-kissed look. Glossier Solar Paint comes in four shades that feature Glossier’s Dessert Milk, a combination of extracts including jojoba, aloe, baobab and watermelon. There’s Flare (for fair to light tones), Ray (for light to medium tones), Heat (for tan to deep tones) and Volt (for deep to rich tones). Each shade works to give every tone category its own version of a bronzed look. Not to mention, the bronzers have a pearlescent finish to up the ante on your glow.

The brand’s Solar Paint bronzer comes with a doe-foot applicator for more control. Plus, like all Glossier products, you can easily use your fingers to apply it. Per a press release, Solar Paint can be applied to the forehead, chin and cheeks. If you want a more defined look, apply Solar Paint under the cheekbones and along the perimeter of your entire face.

The best way to describe this is like a sunny cosmic glow. It’s not like a regular bronzer. This one is super subtle. Applying Solar Paint is super easy. The product is slightly thicker than Cloud Paint, but it glides on similarly and blends out like many of Glossier’s other complexion products. Plus, the bronzer isn’t an obvious glow. I used the deepest shades in Heat and Volt, and both shades don’t show up on the skin as blatantly as the bottle cap would indicate. It’s meant to blend in with your natural tone, which I personally like. If you want more of a color payoff, I’d definitely opt for a brush instead of your fingers.

Yeah, there are makeup-no-makeup days, but when the sun fails you, this stuff ensures your skin will have a healthy-looking glow.
