With the NRL and AFL seasons kicking off this week, Grill’d has introduced a two-for-one meal deal that could help Australians struggling with the high cost of living.
The Australian restaurant chain has announced its Mad Bunday deal, where you can score a free burger or salad every time your rugby league or Aussie rules team wins.
Considering there are more than two dozen rounds of league and AFL each this year, that’s a lot of chances for a free meal if your team does well.
How to claim your free meal
Those wanting to access the deal need to sign up to Relish, which is Grill’d’s member program, and pick your team to support.
You can’t change your selection once you sign up and you can only pick one sport.

If your team wins, you’ll receive a voucher to redeem each Monday. All you have to do is order a burger or salad and you’ll get an extra one for absolutely nothing. That means you could give someone a free lunch or eat both meals yourself and be very satisfied.
Every time you redeem the voucher, your name goes into the draw to win an even bigger prize, which includes a BBQ and projector.
