Four more men arrested over Sven Badzak killing in Kilburn

Four more men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering an aspiring lawyer in a north-west London street.

Sven Badzak, 22, was stabbed to death in Kilburn at around 5.30pm on February 6.

His mother Jasna Badzak said her son had gone to Waitrose to get orange juice and then to a bagel shop when he was attacked.

Mr Badzak and his 16-year-old friend were chased at around 5.30pm.

They became separated and Mr Badzak was stabbed after falling to the ground.

The 16-year-old also suffered multiple stab injuries but managed to escape into a shop in Willesden Lane and is now said to be recovering.

Four males, aged 17, 18, 23 and 20, were arrested on Tuesday, 20 April on suspicion of murder.

They were taken to central London police stations where the 17-year-old was subsequently bailed to return on a date in late May.

The other three were released under investigation.

Two males have previously been charged in connection with this incident:

Rashid Gedel, 20, of Fenman Gardens, Ilford, was arrested on 10 March and charged that same day with Sven’s murder and attempted murder of a 16-year-old boy. He next appears in custody at the Old Bailey on June 1.

Shiroh Ambersley, 20, of Matthews Close, Wembley, was charged on 13 March with Sven’s murder and the attempted murder of a 16-year-old boy.

He appeared in custody at the Old Bailey on March 19 where he was further remanded in custody to appear at the same court on a date to be confirmed.

Three other males arrested on suspicion of murder are released under investigation. Enquiries continue.
