Yahoo Finance Star sign most likely to be rich and famous
People born between 23 July and 22 August are the most likely to become rich and famous but those born from 19 February to 20 March have another thing coming, new analysis has found.
Analysis of Forbes top 100 highest earning celebrities by TopRatedCasinos.ie found Leos (23 July - 22 August) made up 12 per cent of Forbes celebrity rich list, led by Kylie Jenner who took home US$712.7 million in 2020.
1. Leo - 12%
Total made: US$1,751,447,647
Roger Federer and Joe Jonas also feature on the list of Leos raking it in.
2. Capricorn - 12%
Total made: US$1,101,057,041
People born from 22 December to 20 January, or Capricorns, are known for hard work. They’re just as likely as Leos to become rich and famous, with celebrities like LeBron James included in this group.
3. Libra - 10%
Total made: US$859,751,170
Libra (23 September - 22 October) is the star sign with the most billionaires and also churns out many wealthy celebrities. Simon Cowell, Bill Simmons and Kevin Durant are among the top earning celebrities.
4. Gemini - 9%
Total made: US$873,772,204
“Geminis (21 May - 21 June) love being credited for whatever they do as much as they love the idea of being famous. So, it’s no surprise Kanye West is the highest earning among them reeling in US$224.3 million this year,” the analysis read.
5. Scorpio - 9%
Total made: US$798,658,685
Scorpios (23 October - 21 November) are considered one of the more passionate star signs, who can also multitask. Ryan Reynolds is the highest-earning Scorpio, making US$94.3 million while Gordon Ramsay and Kevin Jonas also made serious bank.
6. Virgo - 9%
Total made: US$837,337,527
Tyler Perry, Nick Jonas and Doctor Phil were all born between 23 August and 22 September. Virgos tendencies towards being “methodical perfectionists” means they are well-represented among the rich and famous.
7. Cancer - 9%
Total made: US$813,839,800
People born from 21 June to 22 July are known for being intuitive and can leap on opportunity. Soccer star Lionel Messi, Ariana Grande and Post Malone are among the celebrities born under Cancer who are raking it in.
8. Aquarius - 8%
Total made: US$847,898,303
Born from 21 January to 20 February, Aquarians are known for their intelligence, with the richest celebrities making nearly US$850 million in one year. They include soccer superstars Neymar and Ronaldo and Ellen Degeneres.
9. Taurus - 7%
Total made: US$613,820,925
Taurans determination and stubbornness serves them well on their path to fame and glory, with those born between 19 April and 20 May including Dwayne Johnson.
10. Sagittarius - 6%
Total made: US$527,489,982
Sagittarians are born between 23 November and 21 December and include Taylor Swift, Keith Richards and Jay-Z.
11. Aries - 5%
Total made: US$480,332,716
Fiery Aries aren’t so good at achieving fame and fortune, according to Forbes’ rich list. But celebrities born between 20 March and 21 April like Elton John, Celine Dion and James Patterson still made the cut.
12. Pisces - 4%
Total made: US$334,477,357
Pisces’ “passive nature” took them to last place, with Steph Curry, Suga and Rihanna among the few celebrities born between 19 February and 20 March to make the cut.
