Millions across cities worldwide donned their best kicks in honor of the annual holiday and Nike, in partnership with Foot Locker, released a limited edition capsule to pay homage to select spots in the United States.

Atlanta is the epitome of southern hospitality. The VaporMax Plus comes in a deep forest green colorway for men. For women, the shoe takes on a pink hue.
The Windy City, better known as Chicago, can be easily spotted amongst a lineup of skylines thanks to its unique skyscrapers and steel bridges. Nike chose to represent Chicago with the Air Max 90 in a bright, vibrant shade of red.
