HOUSTON (AP) _ Flotek Industries Inc. (FTK) on Tuesday reported a loss of $75 million in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Houston-based company said it had a loss of $1.30. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and pretax expenses, came to 34 cents per share.

The oilfield services company posted revenue of $59.1 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit $2.91. A year ago, they were trading at $6.38.
