Big W has released its TOY MANIA preview catalogue as excitement about the toy sale reaches fever pitch.

Facebook group Big W Mums Australia shared the official preview catalogue on Tuesday (11 June) after the retailer hosted a Facebook live session, teasing viewers to “keep their eyes on their inboxes” from Tuesday.

The live stream was viewed an incredible 1.1 million times, with the sale pitched as including the “coolest toys”.

It will run from 20 June to 10 July, with shoppers encouraged to consider putting items of $50 and more on lay-by for Christmas.

What’s in the catalogue?

Shoppers can save $75 on a Doc McStuffins all-in-one nursery, now $74.

Nella and Wonder Park Toys are half price, while John Deere walkers are $119 - $70 cheaper than their non-sale price.

Toy ride-on cars are also up to $50 less than their non-sale prices.

However, Big W may face some competition this year, with Aldi holding a Special Buys toy sale on Wednesday 12 June, featuring a range of wooden toys.

Aldi will sell a wooden coffee maker, baking mixer, tea set, cash register, toy truck and waffle maker for $14.99 each, and will also sell a wooden doll’s house for $49.99.

Big W is also selling a wooden dollhouse by LOL Surprise! for $299 in its Toy Mania sale.

The sale comes as Big W moves towards an uncertain future, with 30 stores to close within the next three years.

Big W parent company, Woolworths Group announced the closures in April, explaining some stores were taking too long to become profitable.
