Family pretends they’re at a ‘fancy restaurant’ when mom cooks at home: ‘Can you adopt me?’

TikTok is obsessed with this family’s DIY fancy dinner at home.

Shena is a mom of three and a vlogger with over 427,000 followers on TikTok. When her family eats together, sometimes they like to do it up and pretend they have a fine dining experience at home.

4 mortgage truths that may surprise you

“We like to pretend we’re at a fancy restaurant when I cook,” the mom explained in the caption.

Her two daughters and son sat at the kitchen bar looking well-dressed. Dinner was served on the fancy white dishware you’d expect from a fine establishment. Even the cloth napkins were folded into fans, and the table was set with small faux candles to create ambiance.

The mom was happy to play the role of waiter and served them Pellegrino sparkling water to start. Then, she brought out their shared appetizer of loaded fries with black tiger prawns.

“For you, sir,” the mom told her son as she placed his plate down.

“Thank you, ma’am,” he replied cheerfully.

Jordyn Woods says her Instagram isn’t real life:

The main course was ramen with lobster topped with a fried egg. The kids looked elated at the pristine dinner.

“Mommy — I mean, ma’am — can you fill my cup up?” her youngest daughter adorably slipped up.

The adorable family video received 7.9 million views and 1.4 million likes on TikTok.

“I get so emotional seeing our generation give our babies a childhood experience we didn’t get to have or just cool stuff like this,” someone wrote.

“The details are immaculate, I mean down to the towels being folded perfectly and fancy,” another commented.

“Can you adopt me? I come with a husband, two kids and a dog, but we can negotiate the husband part,” a person joked.
