That compared to EPS of $3.65 on revenue of $3.28B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $1.76 on revenue of $3.15B in the previous quarter.

Expedia shares lost 6.14% to trade at $127.00 in after-hours trade following the report.
