Europe from $1,249: Jetstar, Etihad drop flight sales

Itching for an overseas holiday? Two airlines have just dropped major international flight sales, but you’ll need to get in quick.

Jetstar has today announced its Asia sale, with more than 10,000 discounted fares to Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul and Ho Chi Minh City up for grabs.

Airfares start from just $169 one way, including flights to Ho Chi Minh City from either Sydney or Melbourne.

Etihad Airways has also dropped a huge flash sale, with Aussies able to snap up sale fares from Sydney and Melbourne to Europe and the Middle East from $1,249 return.

The sale covers 13 international destinations, including Rome, Barcelona, Paris, Milan, Amman, Beirut, Tel Aviv and more.

Jetstar’s sale starts at midnight tonight and runs until midnight AEDT on Friday, October 6, unless sold out prior. Club Jetstar members will have 12 hours of early access from midday today. Etihad’s pre-summer sale ends today.

• Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City from $169

• Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Ho Chi Minh City from $169

• Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Singapore from $184

• Cairns to Osaka (Kansai) from $249

• Brisbane to Seoul (Incheon) from $259

• Cairns to Tokyo (Narita) from $289

• Sydney to Seoul (Incheon) from $299

• Brisbane to Osaka (Kansai) from $309

• Brisbane to Tokyo (Narita) from $339

Travel dates vary depending on the route, but include dates in late October 2023 to late August 2024.
