It’s no wonder TikTok is swooning over this Eiffel Tower marriage proposal. When Laura Benincasa was in the city, she managed to sneak a video of a boyfriend proposing to his future wife. Let’s just say the couple was anything but lowkey when it came to their relationship.

In the footage, the man got down on one knee, as is the tradition. But it was the backdrop that was the real showstopper. The couple stood before a massive light sign that said, “Marry Me.” It was right near the Seine River, which was dreamy enough. To make things even more extra, behind the river was the Eiffel Tower putting on a dazzling light show. The massive structure glittered and shimmered in the night.
While some believed it was Benincasa in the clip at first, she clarified the situation later.
“Since there are some confused people in the comments, I wanted to specify that it’s not me in the video!” she said.
Still, people adored the video, which racked up over 11.4 million views.
“Because of TikTok, my expectations are getting higher and higher,” one user said.
“Dream proposal unlocked,” another wrote.
“Is this too much to ask for?” someone joked.
