When it comes to hosting holiday festivities, the little things make a big difference. Dazzle guests with these amazingly simple hacks that will take your holiday entertaining game to the next level, and give loved ones a night they won’t soon forget!

  1. Simmer holiday spices to create a warm and festive aroma

Boil a pot of water and add your favorite holiday ingredients to fill your home with the smells of the holiday season. If you’re not sure where to start, try cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, star anise, orange peels, lemons, or pine sprigs!

  1. Make place card holders using candy canes

Put those peppermint sticks to work by making them multi-purpose! Tie three mini candy canes together using some string or an elastic, then secure them with a drop of hot glue. Once the glue has cooled, remove the string and turn your candy cane trio upside down so the hooks are on the table, and insert your place card!

  1. Turn napkins into elf hats

Give your table a spritely finish by folding your napkins into adorable elf hats. First, fold the napkins lengthwise. Then, fold one side of the napkin into the center twice and keep rolling it until it’s formed a cone shape. Fold the base of the “hat” up to create a cuff and add a cranberry on the top point of the hat for good measure.

  1. Use wine glasses to make centerpieces

Turn wine glasses upside down and place some festive decor like holly and berries inside the bowl. Put a tea light on the “top” (base) of the wine glass stem to set the mood for your festivities.
