Love reviewing experiences or products and sharing your opinion?

If you have the right skills, one major pub and bar operator in Australia wants to pay you for your thoughts.

Australian Venue Co, the parent company behind more than 160 venues across Australia’s capital cities such as Sydney's Albion Hotel, Cargo, The Rook and Kingsleys, is hiring 36 individuals to join their ‘Secret Sipper’ team.

Members of this covert group will travel undercover to a venue owned by the company and engage with staff, inspect the venue environment, and buy random and designated items in order to assess customer service, cleanliness or areas of improvement, and product quality.

But after the visit, they will complete a survey and write a report detailing the experience.

Those who get the job will be paid $200 per review and be given a $30 meal allowance, with Secret Sippers expected to retain receipts to be reimbursed after purchasing.

Australian Venue Co is reportedly looking to build a team of Secret Sippers across the country, with candidates required to have good communication and memorisation skills as well as a love for hospitality.

To be eligible to apply, you’ll have to have to arrange your own transport to venues; have your own personal ABN; have keen attention to detail; and be able to conduct your duties discreetly.

Jobs are advertised in The Rocks in NSW, Highgate in Western Australia, south Brisbane in Queensland, south Melbourne in Victoria, as well as Adelaide and Darwin.

There are 36 Secret Sipper positions available. Those interested in the gig can visit this website to apply.
