What you’ll need:

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin spice

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pumpkin is rich in skin-loving nutrients like antioxidants and vitamins A, C and E. Sugar is a gentle exfoliator that helps to slough off dead skin cells and a natural humectant that draws moisture from the air into the skin. Meanwhile, the rich coconut oil helps to seal in all of the moisture.

Steps:

1. Mix the brown sugar and pumpkin spice in a bowl.

2. Stir the mixture and slowly pour in the coconut oil.

3. Add the vanilla extract and stir one last time.

4. Transfer the scrub into a jar with a lid for easy storing.

“Make sure you use it in the shower,” Phoebe says. “Soak your body with warm water for 10 minutes first, then apply the scrub in a circular motion.

After 5 to 10 minutes, rinse with warm water.
