Definition of madness: Checking J.J. Watt's (non-existent) Peloton bio for clues on his free agency

J.J. Watt was an NFL free agent for the first time. He doesn't seem to be minding the attention, though some Monday morning attention wasn't his fault.

Watt was released by the Houston Texans at his request, and since then the internet is on a mission to search through clues on where he'll sign.

Monday might have been a new low. ESPN's Field Yates said someone saw Watt's Peloton bio was changed to read: "SB56...GB...CLE...BUF" apparently signaling that one of those three teams will be the one he signs with.

There was only one problem with the supposed Peloton bio news ...

Well then. Let's make sure that any further news on Watt's free agency from TikTok or Snapchat or wherever else is actually from Watt's accounts.

Watt later confirmed that he was heading to the Arizona Cardinals on a two-year deal worth $31 million.
