Cult Coles snack sparks FEEDING FRENZY as price drops to 98c
Potatoes are undeniably one of the best foods in the world, and they’re even better when they’re baked with delicious spices.
So Coles shoppers were unsurprisingly thrilled when the supermarket giant slashed prices on Birds Eye Deli Seasoned Chips from $3.50 to just 98 cents.
An eagle-eyed member of a Facebook bargain group, spotted the sale and shared it with the group, describing the snacks as “posh chips”.

“Be quick, these are selling out fast,” they said.
Another group sent in a photo of the piles of packets her mother had picked up at her local store.
“So guys I told mum about the Coles deli chips this afternoon, and she just sent me this pic,” she said.
“The whole family are getting chips.”
“Well at least with a sale like this we can actually use the old saying ‘cheap as chips’,” commented another.
“I went to Coles today and grabbed six packets,” shared another user.
“Would of [sic] got more but my freezer is to [sic] small.”
The sale comes just days after Woolworths launched a massive freezer sale, which saw most freezer items half-price.
