Croatia vs Czech Republic - LIVE!

2018 World Cup finalists Croatia kept their last-16 hopes alive at Euro 2020 with a hard-fought draw against the Czech Republic at Hampden Park.

Ivan Perisic struck for Zlatko Dalic’s side shortly after the interval in Glasgow to earn a share of the spoils following Sunday’s 1-0 Group D defeat by England at Wembley.

The Czechs - high on confidence following their 2-0 win over Scotland on Monday - had led at half-time after a bloodied Patrik Schick - now the outright leader in the Golden Boot race - struck his third goal of the tournament already from the penalty spot in the 37th minute.

The spot-kick was controversially awarded by Spanish referee Carlos del Cerro Grande after he was advised by the VAR to consult the pitchside monitors after an elbow from Dejan Lovren on Bayer Leverkusen’s Schick as the duo went up for an aerial challenge in the box.

Four points will surely seal the Czech Republic’s place in the last 16 ahead of their final group game against England, while Croatia will need to beat Scotland back at Hampden on Tuesday night.
