I don’t know why my hands are so dry and rough, but they are. If I forget to apply a moisturizer after I wash my hands, it’s game over. Not only do they look dull and ashy, but they sometimes even feel as rough as sandpaper.

Given that I’ve dealt with chronically dry hands for years now, it shouldn’t be surprising that I’ve been through my fair share of hand creams. Finding a formula that works quickly but doesn’t leave a greasy, oily residue took some experimenting, but when I tried this Lanolips Hand Cream, I knew I had a winner.

Lanolips Hand Cream Intense Rose, $15

Though the Lanolips Hand Cream Intense Rose comes out of the tube thick and creamy, it absorbs quickly and almost instantly makes my hands look and feel better. I will say that you do have to massage it a bit to evenly distribute it on your hands, but soon it soaks right in and make my hands soft and smooth.

Like many products the brand makes, the Lanolips Hand Cream Intense Rose star ingredient is lanolin. It’s a natural, renewable and sustainable oil that deeply moisturizes even the driest skin. According to the product description, “Lanolin mimics the skin’s own oils to heal and hydrate.”

Shoppers on Amazon give the Lanolips Hand Cream Intense Rose 4.5 out of 5 stars, with many shoppers saying it’s a great hand cream for colder weather when skin tends to be drier.

One happy shopper commented, “I had really dry hands over winter and wanted to try a product that used lanolin and smelled nice. This cream is surprising — feels very wet when you put it on (wet as in you are using water), but goes on smoothly and dries in a nice kind of way. I liked it a lot.”

Another shopper said, “Works very well and not does not leave your hands greasy.”

I’m so impressed by how well the Lanolips Hand Cream Intense Rose works, I keep a few tubes all around my home. I have one in the bathroom to use after I wash my hands, one at my desk for when my hands get dry while working, and another in my purse for whenever my hands feel dry on the go. It’s one of the few creams that really work for an extended period of time without any stickiness, so it’s definitely worth the $15, in my opinion.

Whether your palms get rough or your cuticles fray when they’re dry, you should buy this Lanolips Hand Cream Intense Rose ASAP. It’s a winter skin care essential.
