  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tsp hot paprika

Sauce Mix

  • 1 tbsp sour cream

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Everything Else

  • 4-6 cod fish fillets, cut into strips

  • 1 cup red onion, diced

  • 1/2 cup cilantro, minced

  • Corn tortillas

  • 2 Thai chili peppers, diced

Directions

  1. Combine the fish seasoning ingredients together in a bowl, and cover the fish with the seasoning mix and set aside.

  1. Combine all the dry batter ingredients, and then slowly add the sparkling water and mix using a whisk or spatula until it reaches a thick consistency.

  1. Coat the fish strips in the batter and cook them in oil at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-7 minutes. Once the fish is cooked, set them on a drying rack to cool.

  1. Make the sauce by combining the sour cream, ketchup and Dijon mustard.

  2. Assemble the tacos by laying out a corn tortilla and spreading the sauce on it. Next, place your piece of fish and top it with salt, red onions, cilantro, and Thai chili peppers. All that’s left is to dig in and listen to the crunch!
