This closet hack organizes your jeans without requiring more storage

If your drawers are overflowing with jeans, this simple closet hack will free up a ton of space.

Decode and demystify Gen Z's latest online slang terms with In The Know's new glossary.

Hangers really aren’t designed to hold jeans. The pairs tend to bunch up on one side and cause the hanger to easily fall off the rack. Not to mention, folding the pants over the hanger can take up extra closet room. It’s no wonder we usually keep our jeans folded up in our dressers, but that isn’t exactly space-saving either.

Do these talked-about products actually show up on darker skin tones?

Watch as In The Know’s Lisa Azcona shares her super affordable hack to organize her jeans without buying extra storage.

“This is a hack you didn’t know you needed,” Lisa says. “All you’ll need for this hack is shower curtain hangers.”

The first thing she does is fold her jeans in half. Then she hooks the belt loop, located on the back of the pants, onto a shower hanger. Using this method, she’s able to load up her closet rack with all her extra pairs without them taking up too much room. There are also a few other benefits of having her pants accessible and easy to see.

“It’s a great way to put your jeans and pants on display and easily identify which pair you want to wear,” she says. “You can see the cut, the shade and the style of each pair, as opposed to when they’re all stuffed in a drawer altogether.”
