Chipotle, Google, Tesla, Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway: Companies to Watch

Here are the companies the Yahoo Finance team is watching for you today.

A big upgrade for Chipotle (CMG). UBS has boosted the stock to neutral and raised its price target to $900 a share. Analysts there say they underestimated customer demand, and recent results at Chipotle "significantly exceeded our expectations."

U.S. State Attorneys General will meet Justice Department attorneys this week to share information on their investigations into Google (GOOGL), according to multiple news reports. The meeting could ultimately result in the two groups joining forces in the investigation. They're looking into whether Google's behavior may harm consumers through its control of online advertising and search traffic.

Elon Musk is making a few environmental promises. The CEO of Tesla (TSLA) says the upcoming German factory will use less water than originally promised and won't cause an issue for drinking water in the region. On top of that he tweeted that only a small part of a forest would be cut down to build the factory. Environmental groups are concerned about the impact of the factory, which Tesla hopes to open later this year.

Employees at Amazon (AMZN) want their voices heard. Over 350 workers violated the company's policy by publicly criticizing its climate practices. Public comment by workers needs to be approved by executives. The group of workers plan to post a video today about the danger of climate change while promising that they can't be silenced.

And there’s some redemption for Warren Buffett. That's because the husband-and-wife owners of DC Solar, a company which Berkshire Hathaway (BRK-A) invested $377 million into, are going to jail for orchestrating a Ponzi scheme. The Ponzi scheme totaled an estimated $912 million. Prosecutors called it the largest scheme in the history of the Eastern District of California.
