Chelsea will play their first game since Thomas Tuchel was named head coach as they host Wolves in the Premier League tonight.

Tuchel arrived at Stamford Bridge yesterday, just a day after Frank Lampard was sacked as manager, and – following his first training session with his new squad last night – the ex-Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund boss will be in the dugout this evening.

The aim for Chelsea will be to respond positively following their 2-0 league defeat by Leicester in their most recent top-flight effort, with a 3-1 FA Cup win against Luton on Sunday neither enough to preserve Lampard’s future at the club nor to encourage supporters that performances are heading in the right direction.

The Blues’ recent form has them in a mid-table position, while Wolves enter the match 10 points clear of the relegation zone, having failed to win a top-flight game in their last six efforts.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Premier League meeting.

When is it?

The game will kick off at 6pm GMT tonight at Stamford Bridge.

How can I watch it?

The match will air live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate. Subscribers can also stream it live on the BT Sport website and app.

Line-ups

Chelsea: Mendy, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Thiago Silva, Chilwell, Jorginho, Kovacic, Ziyech, Havertz, Hudson-Odoi, Giroud

Wolves: Patricio, Boly, Coady, Kilman, Semedo, Dendoncker, Neves, Ait Nouri, Podence, Traore, Neto

Odds

Chelsea: 3/5

Draw: 16/5

Prediction

Wolves would normally be one of the last sides a newly-arrived manager would want to face, but their poor form might just give Tuchel a platform to get off to a winning start in west London. Chelsea 1-0 Wolves.
