Charli D'Amelio deletes TikTok video over ominous messages: 'Leave that poor girl alone'

Charli D’Amelio posted a TikTok video of herself dancing on March 11, only to take it down a few hours later.

There was nothing wrong with the video itself — the most-followed TikToker was simply performing an intricate dance routine, much to the delight of her fans. However, thanks to an ominous YouTube channel, the comment section of the video was flooded with people claiming D’Amelio was going to die soon, which prompted her to remove the video altogether.

A YouTube channel called 2021 Vision baselessly predicted that D’Amelio will die on March 12, 2021.

People are convinced that D’Amelio is going to die on March 12, 2021, thanks to a YouTube channel called 2021 Vision. This channel is one of many that’s emerged over the past few weeks, with unsubstantiated claims they can foretell which celebrities will die and when.

This channel in particular shared a prediction about D’Amelio’s “death” on Feb. 22. It claims that the TikTok star will die in a car accident (with no proof whatsoever). Still, the channel has amassed nearly 6,000 subscribers, and the original video predicting D’Amelio’s demise has almost 500,000 views.

People believe the predictions because of another YouTube channel called 2020 Vision.

These YouTube prediction channels might seem far-fetched (and they are), but there’s a reason why people are buying into them. A YouTube channel called 2020 Vision has been going viral on TikTok for seemingly predicting all of the major celebrity deaths in 2020 three years ago. Several YouTubers have debunked this, but it still has people spooked.

With D’Amelio’s alleged ‘death day’ approaching, users are starting to flood her comments.

D’Amelio deleted her TikTok on March 11 after receiving a bombardment of ominous comments about her supposed death, but that hasn’t stopped users from bothering her.

On her most recent video, also uploaded on March 11, most of the comments are also about the 2021 Vision prediction.

“Charli pls don’t leave tomorrow,” one person said.

“Goodbye Charli,” another wrote.

“Today’s the day,” a third commented on March 12. “I hope it’s not true.”

D’Amelio has not said anything about the prophecy, and hopefully, people will leave her alone when the predictions are proven untrue.
