When is the Carabao Cup fourth round draw? Date, start time, how to watch, ball numbers and fixture dates

When is the Carabao Cup fourth round draw? Date, start time, how to watch, ball numbers and fixture dates

The Carabao Cup competition is heating up after the big guns joined the party in round three.

Manchester City have won each of the last four editions of this competition and made a typically prolific start to their quest for a record fifth consecutive triumph by navigating an early scare in a 6-1 thrashing of third-tier Wycombe.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, Liverpool claimed another straightforward win at struggling Norwich and QPR dumped out Premier League Everton on penalties on a memorable night in west London.

Brentford hit the EFL’s bottom club Oldham for seven, while Leeds triumphed via a shootout at Fulham and Jay Rodriguez scored four second-half goals in Burnley’s comeback win over Rochdale.

There were also wins for Southampton, Stoke, Sunderland and Preston, with six more matches on the slate for Wednesday night.

There were three all-Premier League ties this evening as Manchester United lost to West Ham, and Tottenham and Chelsea snuck past Wolves and Aston Villa respectively on penalties.

AFC Wimbledon lost 3-0 at Arsenal, while Brighton beat Swansea and Leicester won at Millwall.

When is the Carabao Cup draw?

The draw for the fourth round of the 2021/22 Carabao Cup takes place tonight - Wednesday, September 22 - at Potton Bowls Club in Sandy, Bedfordshire.

Harry Redknapp and Micah Richards will be drawing the teams.

When does the Carabao Cup draw start?

The fourth round draw is due to begin after the completion of tonight’s television fixture, which is Manchester United vs West Ham.

That match - as are all the others tonight - is a 7:45pm BST kick-off, so you can expect the draw to happen somewhere between 9:30pm and 10pm, provided there are no penalties at Old Trafford.
