‘Call-A-Karen’: The $65/hr remote job hiring ‘Karens’

If you identify with the ‘Karen’ trope – there’s a job that might be perfect for you.

A website that reviews dehumidifiers is hiring someone to write three “honest” reviews a week at the rate of $65 an hour, but you’ll need to fill certain criteria.

“Do you think of yourself as a critic with impeccable taste, who is not afraid to express your feelings, opinions and judgements?

“If you speak English fluently and write it well, have fantastic customer service skills (an awesome telephone voice is also desirable!) and enough room at home to test out some brilliant products, then you could be DehumidifierCritic.com’s resident ‘Karen’,” the job post read.

You’ll be the “voice and authority” behind the site’s “Call-A-Karen service”, where customers will be able to call up for advice and product recommendations.

The rates are pretty sweet, too – if you get the job, which you’ll be able to do remotely, you’ll make $65 an hour, with flexible hours.

You’ll also be provided with a company mobile phone for the position.

DehumidifierCritic.com is seeking a woman above the age of 21 to fill the ‘Call-A-Karen application’.

“Please give one example of how you are a 'Karen',” the application asks.

“A personal experience of how you dealt with an issue would be great, or a brief description of your character would also suffice).”

If your name isn’t actually Karen, don’t fret.

“There’s no requirement for your name to actually be Karen, you just need to be a Karen by nature!”

Applications close on the 31st of August, so apply soon via the DehumidifierCritic.com website if you think you’re the Karen for the job.
