An Australian fashion business has collapsed into administration as the owner reveals she’s been “stressed out for 7 years”.

Constance Hall, a Perth-based mummy blogger and influencer who runs online fashion business Queen The Label, shared the news on Facebook on Thursday night, revealing she’d been “dreading” it.

“It’s broken my heart, I started the brand on revenue from my books and to have nothing left is a really tough pill to swallow. I feel like one of those cliches that wins lotto and then has nothing left a decade later,” she said in a Facebook post.

Hall said she’d been “stressed out for 7 years” and had not been giving her six children the “time they deserve” or “enjoying (her) life while the impending doom of not having made enough money hung over (her)”.

“After a week long panic attack with confusion over book work that I simply do not understand, I was told that nobody should have to live with the stress that this company puts on me and my life. And they were right,” she said.

Suppliers and wages have reportedly been paid in full; however, other debts, including a tax bill and outstanding loan, remain.

“Of course if there are still debts after the administrators move the remaining inventory (and repossess my car) and figure out where everything went wrong, I will pay them off,” she wrote.

Family and friends reportedly hadn’t been told of the collapse when Hall made the post, as she “owed it” to fans of the brand.

“I love you and have always felt like I will be OK because I have the support of so many women and that is how I have calmed my shaking hands these last few weeks,” she said, adding her other homeware and accessories business, The Loverhearts Club, “isn’t going anywhere”.

“It’s a small business with only me and my kids to support, only creating the things that bring me joy without the pressures of a huge company landing on my shoulders every morning when I wake up,” she wrote.

“Im still coming to terms with losing the company’s 300k subscribers and my car and the original investment of money. But this is the price to for freedom and peace of mind.

“It’s a hard feeling to describe, I’m stressed af but I’m also excited about my future. I know I will be able to pay the debts off, they aren’t huge, the never ending divorce trial is finally going to be over at the end of this year and I feel like I’m about to take a huge breath at the top of the water that’s been slowly drowning me for years.”

Hall was still legally married to her first husband Bill Mahon, a British carpenter, until recently.

She shares seven children with her partner Denim Cooke and recently revealed her extended family had moved into her home due to the housing crisis.
