Can this three-in-one breakfast station from Nostalgia fix all of your breakfast-making woes?
If you ask Amazon shoppers, the answer is yes. Reviewers love the bizarre multi-use cooking gadget, which has a coffee maker, a toaster oven and a griddle that can operate all at once.

In theory, this breakfast behemoth could replace countless kitchen appliances — if it works, that is. Many Amazon reviewers have called it “amazing” and a “perfect” fit for small kitchens.

Is the 3-in-1 breakfast station really better than regular kitchen appliances?
To test out this gadget, we used it to cook a five-course breakfast — coffee, eggs, pancakes, toast and some vegetarian sausage — all at once. Then, we compared that meal to our “traditional breakfast,” made with regular kitchen appliances like pans, skillets and a toaster oven. Here’s how we compared the meals:
Price: At the time we bought our Nostalgia breakfast station, it cost $111 (it’s now on sale for just $99.99). Either way, that was actually cheaper than the total cost of everything we used in our regular breakfast attempt, totaling around $140.
Speed: The three-in-one gadget takes a while to heat up, but it was definitively faster than cooking five different breakfast foods one by one. In all, the gadget took 17 minutes and 23 seconds, versus a lackluster 22 minutes for the traditional way.
Quality: This was the most important factor because it was the only one that mattered to our stomachs. Here, the regular methods won out easily. The three-in-one breakfast maker is fine with coffee and toast, but it seems to have some issues with the griddle. Our pancakes came out soggy and misshapen, while our eggs ran together across the surface. This gadget can make a mean breakfast, but if you give it too much work at once, things can (literally) get a little sticky.
So, there you have it. Our three-in-one gadget won the speed competition but lost in the all-important quality category. Basically, it’s a fun, time-saving trick — but not a solution for any breakfast-making struggles you might have in the morning.
