Two dads’ emotional song about their “Mama’s boys” is going viral — and now, boy moms everywhere are hugging their sons a little tighter!
And just like this dad’s sweet reaction to discovering his baby girl has had a hard day at school, the touching video is bringing a tear to parents’ eyes.
Father, TikToker, and musician Ryan Griffin (@ryangriffinofficial) gained over 5 million views, 30,000 comments, and 800,000 likes when he uploaded the touching song — co-written by his friend and fellow musician, @cameronbedell.

“Should we play it for our wives?” Ryan asked in the video’s caption — and, based on TikTokers’ reactions, the answer was a resounding, “Yes!”
After posting the tear-jerking song online and becoming an instant viral hit, “Mama’s Boy” enjoyed an entire weekend at the No. 1 spot on iTunes, which Ryan credits fully to all the love and support he’s received on TikTok.
“This is 100% because of you. As you know, I have no record label, I have no radio play… It is 100% because of you. So, thank you. I don’t know what to say. Y’all are amazing,” Ryan said in a follow-up TikTok.

Thousands upon thousands of comments came pouring in, praising Ryan and Cameron’s emotional song.
“My fiancé cried when I played this for her. She already said we are playing it at the wedding for her to dance to with our son. Thank you for this,” one parent commented.
“Currently waiting in hospital for our baby boy to be born! Love this song!” another mom-to-be wrote.
