Kitchener will advise Booz Allen on its portfolio of defense services, spanning capabilities including AI, joint fires, accelerated readiness, cybersecurity, and logistics to help develop solutions that will accelerate and advance defense mission outcomes. Prior to that, Kitchener served as commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic, where he led the staffing, training, and equipping of over 70 ships and oversaw 34 shore commands.

"Booz Allen delivers tomorrow’s technologies at the heart of global defense missions, accelerating results across the competition continuum," said Kitchener. "I look forward to applying my expertise to strategically support the mission outcomes and help solve the challenges of the complex battlespace the nation faces today, and in the future."

Gaedecke offers a wealth of expertise in mission systems and technologies related to cybersecurity; electronic warfare (EW); and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR); and will serve as a member of the Digital Battlespace Platform and global defense business leadership teams. He assumes this role after serving the U.S. Air Force as major general and culminating his service as the vice commander, Sixteenth Air Force (Air Forces Cyber), Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, wherein he ensured the readiness of more than 49,000 total force personnel conducting worldwide operations by delivering EW capabilities and multisource ISR products, applications, capabilities, and resources, as well as presented the Air Force Cyber Mission Force to U.S. Cyber Command.

"Booz Allen develops leading solutions for the Department of Defense’s biggest challenges in ISR and EW by modernizing mission systems and technologies to compete and defend against the pacing threat," said Gaedecke.
