Bode Miller added yet another impressive title to his list of accomplishments Friday. On top of being an Olympic gold medalist and U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Famer, Miller can also say he’s delivered children.

No, Miller didn’t become an obstetrician, but he had to perform similar duties when his twin boys were born Nov. 8. Miller stepped in and helped deliver the twins after the couple’s midwife did not show up in time for the birth, according to the Daily Mail.

Miller, 42, had help from his mother, who previously worked as a midwife. Together, they helped deliver the two children, who do not have names yet.

Following the birth, Miller’s wife, former professional beach volleyball player Morgan Beck Miller posted pictures of the children on Instagram. Morgan Miller, 32, teased the story of their birth, calling it “mind blowing.”

Bode Miller told the Daily Mail delivering the twins was “one of the more crazy things I've ever experienced.”

Bode and Morgan Miller welcome the twins a little over a year after their 19-month-old daughter Emeline died in a drowning accident. The couple had a son, Easton, four months after Emeline’s death.

Morgan Miller believe Emeline played a role in the couple getting pregnant with twins. Miller mentioned Emeline in the Instagram post announcing the pregnancy, saying “we knew Emmy had her hands in this miracle somehow.”
