Ten of San Diego County’s technology innovators were recognized at the 14th annual Top Tech Awards to honor the region’s "unsung heroes" of information technology in the areas of business, education, government, and nonprofit organizations. Dambman was recognized as an honoree at a private, small- to medium-sized business for the Top Tech Awards, which were nominated by peers and customers and selected by an independent judging panel.

"It’s an honor to be in the company of the Top Tech award winners, and I am grateful to be leading an amazing team that has made all of this possible," said Mr. Dambman. "Bringing my love of automation into the world of labs and biotech research has been an incredible journey, and I am gratified to see that our efforts at Biosero empower our customers to succeed in their science."

Dambman helped develop Biosero’s Green Button Go® portfolio of laboratory automation software to accelerate research and make results more reproducible. The company also offers hardware integration services to biotech and pharmaceutical clients looking to improve the efficiency of their research labs.

"David has been the technical visionary behind Biosero, creating tremendous value for the life science automation market with his innovative ideas, communication skills, and technical competency," said Biosero founder and CEO Tom Gilman. "He has truly helped shape the company into the lab automation leader it is today, and I am incredibly proud to have him on our team."

This is the latest of many awards bestowed on Biosero and its employees this year. Earlier this year, Biosero’s flagship laboratory automation software, Green Button Go® Scheduler was honored with a 2021 BIG Innovation Award. For the third year in a row, Biosero was named one of the Top 50 Best Places to Work by the San Diego Business Journal. The same publication also named Mr. Gilman CEO of the Year in June and included employees Ruth Petersen, Evelyne Ploquin, and Andrea Salazar on its list of Women of Influence in the Life Sciences, released in August.
