Internet sleuths in the UK have discovered streaming giant Netflix axed its 30-day free trials for new customers.

The company, which until last week, offered new customers a month of the service before free before they had to start paying for it, has removed all information regarding the free trial from its website, MoneySavingExpert.com first reported.

When they contacted Netflix, they said: "We're looking at different marketing promotions in the UK to attract new members and give them a great Netflix experience."
