The best McDonald's, KFC and Hungry Jack's deals this week

Australians love their fast food but they love it even more when it's heavily discounted.

And all the big name restaurants have eye-opening deals on because they want a piece of an industry worth $20.1 billion each year.

This means no one should be paying menu price for a quick burger or chicken.

McDonald's '30 Days, 30 Deals' promotion has hogged the headlines this month, but that's winding up soon.

Here is our weekly round-up of the best discounts from KFC, McDonald's and Hungry Jack's:

McDonald's: best discounts

These are the last two November '30 Days, 30 Deals' daily deals, available through the MyMaccas app:

• Nov 29: $2 for six McNuggets

• Nov 30: $4 for a small Cheeseburger meal and an extra Cheeseburger

A new discount that has appeared on the app is this one, but you must choose the small size for the price to appear:

• Double Beef 'n' Bacon small meal: $5

KFC: best discounts

KFC Australia has its best discounts on its mobile app.

The New Products section shows its latest deals:

• Double Tender burger: $4.95

• Giant Feast (15 pieces original recipe, 18 nuggets, 3 large chips, large potato & gravy, large coleslaw, 1.25L drink, 3 dipping sauces): $42.95

However, the best deals are usually seen in The Colonel's Offers section:

• Family burger deal (4 Zinger or Original Fillet burgers, two large chips, 1.25L drink): $20.95

• Double Combo (2 Zinger or Original Fillet burgers, 2 chips, 2 drinks): $12.95

• Burger Combo Deluxe (Zinger or Original Fillet burger, chips, drink, potato & gravy): $7.45

• Colonel's Dinner (4 pieces original recipe, 4 pieces original tenders, sauce, large chips, large potato & gravy): $15.95

• Cheap as Chips (8 pieces original recipe, 6 nuggets, 2 large chips, 2 large potato & gravy, 2 dipping sauces): $20.95

Hungry Jack's: best discounts

Hungry Jack's paper coupons ceased earlier this year then came back in September. But those ones just expired this week, so we are left with the smartphone app:

• Whopper Junior small meal: $5

• 18 nuggets and 2 cheeseburgers: $12

• Large sundae: $2
