Aldi has done well for itself since entering Australia in 2001, to a point where now it's genuinely challenging the Woolworths-Coles duopoly.
The supermarket has successfully cultivated a public image of consistently low prices, although that's not always true in reality.
Australian shoppers have thus formed "an emotional connection" with Aldi, according to research this year, which is the envy of Coles and Woolworths.
As usual Yahoo Finance has trawled through the coming week's specials at Aldi, and picked out the best Special Buys and Super Savers for you to peruse.
You're warned that the grocery discounts – Super Savers – are not as good as Coles and Woolworths' weekly half-price deals. But Aldi's deals were cut from a lower standard price to begin with:
