As a beauty editor, it is literally my job to find the best beauty products out there. Seriously, who wants to buy a product that nobody’s really tested? Exactly. I make people’s jobs easier by doing the work for them — testing and pre-approving top-rated beauty products long before they hit your cart.
In the month of February, between a lot of single-product spotlights and even more Black History Month content, there were a few beauty products that stood out to me and that I think are totally worth your money.
Here’s what I loved and what you should totally buy (especially if you’re tight on cash but still want to spoil yourself):
LYS Beauty, $22
This clean foundation provides amazing coverage and is packed with skin care-infused serums that help with dullness and uneven skin tone.
Cantu Pure Cocoa Butter Hydrating Raw Blend, $5.99
Nobody wants to be ashy in the winter, and this body butter saved my skin. It’s thick enough to really lock moisture in without sitting on top of the skin and feeling greasy. Plus, you really can’t beat a $6 product.
Ralph Laurence Beyond Romance Mini Travel Spray, $26
If you love scents but have no idea how to describe them, we’re in the same boat. This fragrance smells like a sexy, mature version of cotton candy. Grab it in the mini or full-size version, so you feel cute and delectable all day long.
Ole Henriksen Dark Spot Toner, $29
This is hands-down one of my skin care holy-grail products. This toner tackles dark spots and discoloration while removing dead skin and makeup residue with as little as one swipe. I’m a huge fan and the bottle lasts a long time.
