Aussies prefer working in the office on this day
Wednesday has become the preferred day for Aussie workers to trek into the office, followed closely by Tuesday.
Thursdays are the third-most-popular day for the hybrid workforce, according to data collected by flexible office and workspace operator IWG.
Friday was the least-popular day for commutes into the office, seeing 27 per cent less foot traffic compared to Wednesday.

The findings were based on 102,047 logins across 64 IWG Australian workspace locations in May.
The research also discovered the bulk of employees favoured the three-day-office week, with most workers coming in on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Hybrid work the norm for half of Aussie workplaces
A May RMIT survey of 800 people found around half of Australian organisations had adopted a hybrid work model.
The study found around two-thirds offered some flexibility to choose the days they went in.
Workers tended to want two or three days at home, managers included.
Only 10 per cent of workers wanted to work at home full time, according to the survey, and only 14 per cent wanted to be in the office full time.
The study also showed a mismatch between employer and employee expectations when it came to remote work.
Almost half (44 per cent) said their bosses had made it mandatory to go back to the office full time.
In contrast, 71 per cent of those forced back to the office would prefer to spend at least one day at home, with 56 per cent hoping for two days or more.
Flexibility also ranked second, only to salary, for employees looking for a new job.
