Aussies have less than 72 hours to access Virgin's major sale: $45 tickets

Virgin Australia has launched a flash 72-hour sale and you better get in quick because time is running out. The airline's three-day flash sale will end when the clock strikes 11:59 pm on Wednesday, August 7 or when the tickets sell out.

More than half a million domestic seats are up for grabs and travellers will have to fly between September 3 this year and April 30 next year. Competition will no doubt be fierce, with some tickets costing as little as $45.

All fares include Velocity Frequent Flyer points and status credits.
