Yahoo Finance The Block effect: Aussies flock to check out reality show home
The five houses from this year's reality TV show The Block have been listed online ahead of their auctions.
And, despite there only being a handful of photos of the properties so far, as far as buyers go, there may already be a winner.
The Block contestants Tom and Sarah-Jane's house at 191 McGeorge Road, Gisborne, Victoria, is the most-viewed listing of the week on Domain.com.au.

Listed as House 1 from the series, the home is described as: "Stunning architectural design meets luxurious country living."
Agents Natalie Fagan and Ashlee McKee from Belle Property go on to say that this "exceptional home is luxury country living at its finest".

However, as property is all about location, location, location, rival contestants Dylan and Jenny may still end up the overall winners, with House 4 at 225 McGeorge Road.
House 4 is the highest of the properties and, with its panoramic outlook, arguably has the best views.
The property's agents have made sure to highlight the views in the listing.

The current season of The Block is being broadcast on Channel Nine, with only a small section of each completed house yet revealed.
The indicative price guides for the homes listed on Domain range from $4 million to $4.4 million, which the site indicates is $2.9 million above the median house price in Gisborne.
