Aussie headphones hit $1.2m on Kickstarter

Australian startup Nura has raised almost $A1.2 million for its smart headphones on crowd-funding site Kickstarter.

At 1010 AEST, music lovers worldwide had pledged $US875,000 ($A1.17 million) to fund the Melbourne-based group's headphones, which Nura claims can automatically measure a user's hearing and perfectly adapt music to suit.

Less than one per cent of Kickstarter projects globally reach $US1 million ($A1.3 million), and Nura is on track to become one of them.
