Arcimoto and Island Bike Shop Introduce FUVs to Marco Island for Beachside Rentals

Pure-electric Fun Utility Vehicles will be available in Q1 2022.

EUGENE, Ore., Jan. 11, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Arcimoto, Inc.® (NASDAQ: FUV), makers of rightsized, outrageously fun, ultra-efficient electric vehicles for moving people and stuff, announced today that FUVs will soon be available to rent in Marco Island, Florida through Island Bike Shop, a leader in Marco Island rentals for more than 30 years.

“We are thrilled to introduce the FUV to Marco Island, one of the premier tourist destinations in Southwest Florida,” said Mark Frohnmayer, Arcimoto Founder and CEO. “Island Bike Shop is a well-established rightsized transportation rental operation, and we’re proud to add the FUV to their line of customer options. E-bike shops represent a great ‘plug ‘n play’ opportunity for Arcimoto’s destination rental strategy, driving the potential to increase revenue per vehicle built, as well as generating the simplest form of awareness: people enjoying vehicles on the road in beautiful locations.”

Marco Island is planned to be the sixth Arcimoto rental location, with rentals also available in San Francisco, San Diego, Santa Monica, Key West, and Eugene, Oregon. For more information, visit Arcimoto.com/rental.

Except for historical information, all of the statements, expectations, and assumptions contained in this press release are forward-looking statements. Forward-looking statements include, but are not limited to, statements that express our intentions, beliefs, expectations, strategies, predictions or any other statements relating to our future activities or other future events or conditions. These statements are based on current expectations, estimates and projections about our business based, in part, on assumptions made by management. These statements are not guarantees of future performance and involve risks, uncertainties and assumptions that are difficult to predict and include, without limitation, our expectations as to vehicle deliveries, the establishment of our service and delivery network and our expected rate of production. Therefore, actual outcomes and results may, and are likely to, differ materially from what is expressed or forecasted in the forward-looking statements due to numerous factors discussed from time to time in documents which we file with the SEC.
