Self-isolation during the coronavirus outbreak can be stressful and unnerving, particularly when your grocery – and toilet paper –– supply is low.

But businesses are trying their hardest to make this situation a little less grim for those who have to endure it, with some restaurants and stores offering free delivery for those holed up in their homes.

Yahoo Finance is scouring the net to uncover the best delivery deals on offer, and we will continue to update this list as more restaurants join the movement:

Guzman Y Gomez

The famous Mexian restaurant announced on Instagram on Monday March 16 it would offer free delivery via the Deliveroo app until March 29.

“Forget the fees and kick up your feet, with FREE DELIVERY via the Deliveroo App until March 29,” they stated.

Uber

If you’re not in self-isolation, Uber is offering 40 per cent off its ride-shares, or 60 per cent if you join its Uber Rewards program.

It’s worth noting Prime Minister Scott Morrison urged Aussies travelling via Uber or cab to sit in the back seat, and to practice ‘social distancing’ amid the virus outbreak.

DoorDash

If you haven’t been using DoorDash yet, now might be a great time to start.

Users can take advantage of $0 delivery fees for their first month when they order $15 worth of food.

UberEats

If you’re a healthcare worker, UberEats has pledged 25,000 delivered meals to you and other frontline medical services.

The company announced it would “work with local and state governments to determine the best way to support this”.

Uber Eats General Manager for APAC, Jodie Auster, also revealed the company is supporting independent restaurants by making up to $5 million in funding available for promotions on the site, which means there could be plenty more specials on offer soon.

Betty’s Burgers

While the burger chain hasn’t exactly revealed their offer for customers, they did tease there were specials to come.

“Betty’s has plans to release some exclusive restaurant specials for delivery in the coming weeks, so watch our social channels,” they told customers in an email.

In the US…

If you get jealous easily, you may want to stop reading.

Uber Eats is offering free delivery across the US and Canada as of Tuesday.

“We will also launch daily dedicated, targeted marketing campaigns—both in-app and via email—to promote delivery from local restaurants, especially those that are new to the app,” company head Janelle Sallenave stated.

On top of that, KFC, pizza chains, and cult Mexican chain Chipotle announced they would also offer free delivery to customers.

KFC revealed they’d offer free delivery throughout the US from March 14 through to April 26, while Chipotle announced the offer would be available to customers who spend over US$10 until March 31.

More to come.
