Aldi specials round-up: This week's best deals

Aldi Australia's biggest weapons against the dominant supermarket duopoly of Woolworths and Coles are price and its one-off products called "Special Buys".

The Special Buys, which are household items released in limited numbers each Wednesday and Saturday, have a loyal following among Australian bargain-hunters.

The store also has selected grocery items on sale each week, named Super Savers, much like its larger rivals.

Although Super Savers' discounts aren't quite as dramatic as the half-price specials that Coles and Woolworths spruik each week, they are still worth considering as Aldi is often discounting from a lower original price.

For your convenience, Yahoo Finance has sought out the best Super Savers and Special Buys from Aldi this week and published them in the one place here.

All the below items are on sale between Wednesday August 14 and will last until Tuesday August 20 inclusive:
