Aldi’s Special Buys sales, on every Wednesday and Saturday, are bi-weekly reasons to pop down to your local Aldi store.

But there’s something extra-special about this one: the German giant’s wildly popular portable blender is on sale today.

The rechargeable, hand-held device is a favourite for protein shakes, smoothies and quick, fuss-free breakfasts on the go.

For that reason, the blender is a famously sell-out product, with some stores known to sell out before 10am.

Charging time will take two hours but you’ll get 30 uses out of it, meaning it should last you a month if you’re making a shake a day.

The portable blender is totally reminiscent of the top-rated BlendJet One, which typically retails for six times Aldi’s price at $119.95.

But Aldi’s product could be even better value for money, as the BlendJet one only lasts up to 12 blends per charge.
