Airport services restored after booking glitch

Problems with an online booking system, that led to passenger delays at Perth Domestic Airport, have been resolved.

At one point about 500 Virgin, Jetstar and Tiger Airways passengers were queuing at the Perth Domestic terminal after the airlines' online booking system crashed.

Airport staff across the country were forced to manually check in passengers.

A Jetstar spokesman blamed the problem on an external systems provider.

No flights were delayed.
