Those who haven’t made holiday plans yet need to take out their debit cards, because budget airline AirAsia is launching a sale that will get you to Europe and back for less than $200.

Launching at noon today (Saturday 16 November), travellers will be able to snap up return tickets that get you from Sydney to Madrid for just $199.

Thanks to a partnership with the Davis Cup and online travel agency Kiwi.com, the number of destinations available on AirAsia has expanded.

It means travellers can now get to London, Dubai, Madrid, and Auckland through the airline’s website.

The travel period lasts from now until the last day of March 2020, meaning you’ll have to prepare to fly out pretty soon.

According to a spokesperson for AirAsia, there are “hundreds” of the $199 tickets available once they go live at noon.

They’ll be available exclusively through the AirAsia website, so don’t expect to find the cheap fares on sites such as Skyscanner.

If you miss out on the $199 tickets, a second sale will be available at $399 after the $199 fares sell out.

The sale celebrates the David Cup, which takes place in Madrid between 18 and 24 November.
