Lighting is an important part in making your home look more expensive. According to TikToker and interior designer Julie Sousa of @the_avantgarde, you should have five to seven lighting points in each room, from ambient lighting to task lighting.
If your kitchen is lacking, another TikToker and self-proclaimed DIY mom @beingtheblooms swears by adding under-cabinet lights to your kitchen.

For one, they have a peel-and-stick magnet that attaches under the cabinet. Once you stick the magnet on, you can attach your light to the magnet. The lights are also rechargeable, so they don’t have any hardwiring or ugly cords to plug in. When you need to recharge a light, simply remove it, charge it and re-stick it to the magnet. However, a single charge should last you about 10 to 12 hours.
