Affinity Solutions and Tyler Technologies Partner to Provide Real-Time Economic Recovery Data and Insights

·2-min read

NEW YORK, November 29, 2021--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Affinity Solutions, a prominent data-led consumer insights company, is pleased to announce a partnership with Tyler Technologies, the largest company in North America solely focused on providing software and services to the public sector.

Affinity Solutions leverages purchase signals from 100 million daily credit and debit card transactions to provide a real-time view of consumers’ purchase behaviors. Affinity’s data is anonymized for privacy compliance and enriched to enable insights across different dimensions, including local demographics, merchant category, and geography, with census-block level precision.

"Consumer spending data is one of the most actionable signals that our government leaders look to for economic planning and development. Our partnership with Affinity Solutions informs our state and local government customer, often for the first time, of their constituents’ spending patterns. This is conducted on a neighborhood-by-neighborhood, and industry-by-industry basis," said Oliver Wise, Director of Recovery Insights at Tyler Technologies. "This data powers insights in Tyler products that help guide sound and equitable economic policy."

By integrating Affinity’s enriched data into Tyler Recovery Insights solution, municipal and state government leaders will gain real-time visibility into how the post-pandemic recovery has impacted the purchase behaviors of constituents and the resulting economic impact on local businesses. Insights can be benchmarked against other communities to identify best practices.

"Post-pandemic spending and economic behaviors can vary significantly by local demographics, merchant type, and geography," said Phil Lore, Chief Revenue Officer of Affinity Solutions. "Our partnership with TylerTech empowers public sector leaders to quickly understand those dynamics and make policy and advertising decisions that create positive outcomes for everyone in the community."
