Adorable toddler jumps in to cheer with sister’s middle school cheerleading squad

TikTokers can’t get enough of this video of a toddler who joined in for a cheer with his sister’s cheerleading squad.

It’s been said that cheerleading is more than just a sport, it’s an attitude. TikToker and parent Michelle Rodriguez (@arodsquad) can attest to this after her 2-year-old son spontaneously decided to join his older sister’s middle school cheerleading squad at a football game, and viewers were super impressed by the toddler’s ability to bring it on.

The clip, captioned, “When you’re 2 but have watched too many cheer practices in the living room,” opens with a shot of the cheerleading squad sporting matching navy dresses and pink hair bows facing their middle school’s football field.

Excited to be in the thick of the action, the toddler waves his silver pom-poms and looks up at his cheer teammates, trying to match the routine’s choreography. The little boy has impressive rhythm and timing, especially for a 2-year-old.

The cheerleader in the center lunges herself into the air and kicks out her legs, inspiring the animated little boy to do the same at the end of the routine.

Spectators applaud off-camera, and the toddler looks in their direction with a proud grin before the video comes to a close.

With just $1,000 and one day, this Harlem bedroom gets a brand new look:

Viewers instantly fell in love with the 2-year-old cheerleader.

“This is it. This is your content now. Give the people what they want,” one user advised.

“Yes, yes, get him at the top of the pyramid because he needs to be a star,” encouraged one TikToker.

“As a youth cheer coach, this is my favorite! I love it so much when the little brothers or sisters join in,” one instructor shared.

“Can y’all do a stunt with him?” asked one TikToker.

The little boy may be only 2 years old, but his fan base is already in the millions, thanks to this video.
