Activision Jumps After it Launches WoW Classic
Investing.com - Shares of Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ:ATVI) rose on Tuesday after the gaming company launched a classic version of its World of Warcraft to celebrate its 15-year anniversary.
The relaunched game was on the top channels on Twitch and is a recreation of its pre-expanded mode.
{0|Activision}} gained 4.2% to $50.75 a share, not far from an earlier high of $51.63.
Elsewhere, Zynga (NASDAQ:ZNGA) gained 2.7% after Wedbush added it to its “Best Ideas” list. GameStop (NYSE:GME) fell 2.5%, while Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:EA) rose 1.1%.
